Excessive Speed Alert
This feature will alert you whenever the selected speed threshold is exceeded for more than 30 seconds.
- You'll need to toggle the feature ON for it operate.
- Speed Threshold: Type in the numeric speed limit you would like to use.
- MPH/KPH: This selects the distance unit of measure.
Heartbeat Location
When enabled, the device will automatically report its location at the desired intervals. This feature is also known as auto-track
- You'll need to toggle the feature ON for it operate.
- Time Of Day: If you want your device to report once per day or less often, you can select what time of day the report is sent.
- Frequency: This selects how often the location is reported. Keep in mind that this can use a lot of messages from your service plan, so choose wisely!
2-Min Auto-Track With Panic
When enabled, the device will automatically report its location every 2 minutes (for a total of 30 minutes) whenever panic is activated from the app or the panic button (if equipped).
TIP: If you activate panic and would like to stop the auto-tracking before the 30 minute limit, toggle this feature off and save your GPS settings. You may receive one additional location before the session stops. This is normal.
Geofence Settings
Geofence is a great way to know if your device has entered or exited a particular area. Linkr geofence creates a circular boundary around the devices location with a radius (distance from the center to the outer edge) you choose. So, when you save each geofence, make sure the device is at the center of the desired area.
- You'll need to toggle each Geofence ON for it operate.
- Radius: This is the distance (in meters) from the center of your geofence where you'd like to be alerted.
- NOTE: If GPS signal is lost for an extended period, you may receive an unexpected Geofence alert to indicate that the device has found GPS reception and has just reset its ENTER/EXIT geofence status.
